Columbus, Ohio Summer Track Programs

In the Columbus area there are several summer track programs available for children from grade school to high school. If your kids are athletically minded, or just need a fun way to get in shape and enjoy the outdoors, these programs can provide just the thing. At these track programs, seasoned athletes can refine their skills and beginners can learn the ropes all while making friends in the summer air.
  1. Nike Running Camps

    • Nike gathers top coaches from around the country to participate in their summer camps. There are many options to choose from, overnight camps including all meals and lodging, day camps from morning into the afternoon with lunch, and an extended day camp that lasts through dinner. This program also offers an online support site where runners can learn the latest techniques and gain speed. Even though Nike Running Camps focus on running, with the rest of track and field events not represented--shot-put, hammer throwing, long jumping--the skills learned here can be an asset to any athlete. The main office is located in California, but yearly camps are held in Columbus.
