How to Do a German Suplex
A German suplex is a belly-to-back suplex that, when executed properly, has a devastating effect on a wrestling opponent. Two forces are at work when you execute a German suplex: the force of gravity and the force of your hold on your opponent as you hurtle him toward the mat. While the move may deal your opponent a heavy blow, it requires adequate strength, flexibility and balance to pull off.

1
Face the back of your opponent so you both are looking in the same direction.
-
2
Wrap your arms around your opponent's waist. Get a firm grip so he cannot slip free.
-
3
Lift your opponent off the ground and bend backwards as you maintain your hold. Arch your back, bridge your legs and keep your feet firmly planted on the mat as you bring your opponent crashing into the floor.
-
4
Repeat steps 2 and 3 if you have the energy and your opponent has not sufficiently weakened.
