1
Place the snowboard on a work table. Situate the snowboard so the upper side is facing upward. Inspect the area where the bindings connect to the snowboard.
-
2
Locate the binding's mounting screws. You may need to remove the boot pads from the bindings to find the mounting screws.
-
3
Notice the pattern the mounting screws are attached to the snowboard. You need to use this same pattern when remounting the bindings.
-
4
Remove the mounting screws using a screwdriver. Set the mounting screws in a bowl as you remove them so you don’t misplace them.
-
5
Detach the bindings from the snowboard once you have removed all of the mounting screws. Pull the bindings away from the snowboard. If detaching the bindings becomes difficult, check to ensure you have removed all of the mounting screws.
-
6
Align the new set of bindings with your snowboard. Verify that the bindings are facing in the right position. If you snowboard using a regular stance, the bindings should face the right side of the board. If you snowboard using a goofy stance, the bindings should face the left side of the board.
-
7
Mount the bindings to the snowboard using the screwdriver and the mounting screws you removed previously. Screw the bindings to the board using the same pattern that your old bindings used. You want to use the same mounting screw holes to remount your new bindings.
-
8
Replace the boot pads if your snowboard bindings utilize them. Inspect the bindings to confirm they are securely mounted to the snowboard. Apply pressure to the bindings to test them. The bindings should not shift on the board when pressure is applied.
