Sportline Go Walking Directions

The Sportline Go Walking pedometer measures your steps and distance in miles or kilometers. At the end of your workout, view the total steps you walked and the distance you traveled. For the Sportline Go Walking pedometer to accurately calculate distance, you need to input the length of your stride, or step. The Go Walking pedometer, which clips securely to the top of your pants, comes with a guide for walking 10,000 steps a day.

Instructions

  1. Calculate Step Length

    • 1

Stand with your feet together and make a mark on the floor behind your heels.

    • 2

Walk 10 steps, and mark the point behind your heel on the 10th step.

    • 3

Measure the distance, in inches, between the two marks.

    • 4

Divide the distance by 10 to calculate your step length in inches. If you walked 380 inches, your step length is 38 inches.
