Mp5 Instructions

The Heckler & Koch MP5 is a select-fire submachine gun used by military and law enforcement agencies. Lightweight and fed by a high-capacity magazine, the MP5 can be fired from shoulder or hand and is manufactured in a range of calibers including 9 mm Luger and .40 caliber Smith & Wesson. It fires in three switchable modes: semi-automatic, 2 or 3 round burst and full-automatic sustained fire. Rate of fire in sustained mode varies from 700 to 900 rounds per minute depending on the specific model of MP5. The barrel length of the standard MP5A2 is 8.5 inches and its overall length is 27 inches. It weighs 5.6 lbs. A compact MP5 variant designated MP5K-PDW is classified as a Personal Defense Weapon and has a synthetic folding stock and 4.5-inch barrel.
