Frame and Fork
-
The Fuji Absolute 2.0 is constructed around an A2-SL aluminum frame with "Tear Drop" down tube. The frame contains water bottle mounts on both the seat tube and down tube. The FC-770 Fuji Carbon fork is fitted with a 1 1/8-inch alloy steering tube. Attached to the steering tube is a fully adjustable alloy handlebar stem. The handlebar itself is made of Fuji double-butted alloy. Seating is provided by a choice of a "Fuji Sport Comfort Men" or "Ladies Specific" saddle. The saddle is mounted atop a micro-adjusted seat post.
Gearing
-
The Fuji Absolute 2.0 is fitted with a SRAM ISOflow 3.0 3-speed crankset and Shimano Tiagra 9-speed cassette. The crankset and cassette give the Fuji Absolute 2.0 a combined 27 speeds. Gear selection is made possible by the Shimano FD-R443A non-series road front derailleur and Shimano Tiagra rear derailleur. Derailleurs and gears are compatible with a 9-speed chain. The Fuji Absolute 2.0 comes equipped with a KMC HG53 chain.
Controls
-
The Fuji Absolute 2.0 employs a Shimano SL-R440 and SL-R441 for front and rear gear shifting duties. Each shifter contains one trigger for upshifting and one trigger for downshifting. Tektro brake levers and Tektro RX3 linear pull brakes provide braking for the bicycle. Men- and women-specific brake levers are available. The two types of brake levers allow for a comfortable reach for smaller hands.
Wheels
-
The Fuji Absolute 2.0 rolls on a pair of Fuji-brand wheels. Each wheel consists of a double alloy rim built around a sealed bearing hub. Wheels are mounted with Kenda K-193 700x28c tires.
