Dynastar Agyl 8 Specifications

The Dynastar Agyll 8 is a Nordic type ski designed primarily for intermediate skiers; it came onto the market in 2002. An all-round ski, it comes in five different lengths and possesses an average-sized deep cut radius, for a balance between quick turning and more gradual carving. Dynastar is a French-based manufacturer of skis, snowboards, and other winter sports equipment.

The base of the ski is from high molecular weight graphite material and designed to provide smooth gliding and edging, as well as being suitably durable.

    • The Dynastar Agyl 8 comes with five different lengths: 55.12 inches or 140 centimeters; 59.05 inches or 150 cm; 62.99 inches or 160 cm; 66.93 inches or 170 cm; and 70.08 inches or 178 cm. It has a side-cut radius of 16 meters, which is the amount of curve present in a ski. It's measured as the radius of a circle which continues from the curvature of the ski. In addition, the skis weigh 3 pounds (1.36 kilograms).
